Cooking with CBD

Updated: Nov 10

Are there any benefits of cooking with CBD?

The only one true way to reap the benefits of the active cannabinoid, is to consume CBD in the form of food. It is quickly becoming the most popular way to consume because CBD edibles are delicious and they deliver all of the same benefits of other CBD products. The simplest and most cost-effective way to introduce CBD into your diet is by adding a few drops to your morning coffee, tea or smoothie. This process actually dates as far back as the tenth century, when Indian people used a mixture of ground cannabis flowers and milk for spiritual purposes.

Beverages enter your bloodstream more quickly than chewed foods, so CBD-infused smoothies offer a nutrient-rich way to wake up your metabolism and feel energized to face the day. You can control the dosage when cooking with CBD. Although it is considered safe to use even in large quantities, we recommend starting with a 5mg dosage a couple times per day, and increasing your dosage until you start to feel the desired effects. Once you’ve mastered the art of CBD-infused beverages, you can add our tincture to baked goods, soups, stir-fry dishes and much more. Just remember that high heat can lower the effectiveness of CBD, so it’s best to choose recipes that bake at 350°F or less.

Alternatively, you can enjoy the health-boosting benefits of CBD without heating it at all—simply add a few drops to your favorite pasta sauce, salad dressing, ice cream or other cold dish. CBD is now becoming the future of how we change our lifestyles.
